Urban Planning: The Geometry of Dialogue. Architecture: Respect for Tradition, Looking to the Future.
The design's compositional premise is to position the new wing at a 45-degree angle to the existing buildings. This geometric approach allowed for the creation of a completely new, enclosed urban space. The resulting space creates a safe, intimate school courtyard – a hub for integration, recreation, and safe outdoor play. The newly designed building does not dominate its surroundings but rather engages in a collaborative dialogue with them. The facades and colors directly reference the existing buildings, ensuring visual cohesion throughout the complex. The classic form has been enhanced with modern detail and a unique character. The design is based on balanced solutions that minimize the building's carbon footprint. By using modern insulation systems, energy-efficient installations, and heat recovery technology, the new part of the school will be cost-effective and environmentally friendly. This is architecture that teaches ecology in practice.
Light and greenery: A friendly microclimate
Large-scale glazing: Huge windows allow the classrooms to receive a maximum amount of natural light, which stimulates concentration and protects children's eyesight. Landscape architecture: The school is surrounded by rich, multi-colored greenery. Carefully selected plant species create a sensory garden that changes with the seasons and serves an educational purpose.
